Latest evoluTIon of our best selling industrial grade edging machine, Discover-RK48 shares its mechanics with the TIme-proven Discover-S2 and is fed by a new automatic pick & place module capable of storing 48 blanks and finished lenses in two removable racks, thus allowing at least 1h of conTInuous work with high reliability and repeatability of shape, bevel thickness and axis of prism, polarizaTIon or color gradient. Blanks are arranged in calibrated seats, with reference marks for axis orientaTIon, from where are loaded with high accuracy and placed in between two pushing shafts that hold them during machining by friction only; finished lenses are discharged in the same seats. The machine is controlled via a panel PC with proprietary software and a user friendly interface allowing a fine tuning of every feature of the machining.
