BS 1F

Beveling Device for Optics and RX Lenses Industrial machine with single spindle station for the beveling of mineral glass lenses and organic material. Perfectly developed both for the series processing of mineral lenses and for the RX laboratory. The fundamental prerogative of the machine is its ability to adapt without adjustment to the most varied forms of lens – spherical, toric, prismatic, etc. In addition to making the lens aesthetically more pleasing, the beveling operation allows to eliminate the most breakable part that could compromise the subsequent processing steps. The adjustment operation of working tool function is so easy to grant the realization of bevels with any type of inclination, depth and finishing result.
Today the external look and the appearance are the first qualities to make a desirable product. The chamfering operation, in addition to give to the lens an intrinsic pleasant value, is a necessary operation for a right production process of the lens. This operation, in fact, permits to eliminate that fragile part of lens edge that remains chipped at the end of the generating operation. This part, during the production cycle, would be subjected to breaking or loss of splinters that would compromise the quality of the working surface and the tools integrity.
