Semi-automatic double-head lapping / polishing machine for processing spherical surfaces in mineral glass. Specially designed
for small and medium series production.
The machine is offered in 5 different versions.
REFINING AND POLISHING MACHINE
HS / 2D Refining with diamond tools at 1.400 rpm
HS / 2P Normal speed polishing with polyurethane at 1.400 rpm
HS / 2PP High speed polishing with polyurethane at 2.800 rpm
HS / 2PV Polishing – double polarity 1.400 / 2.800 rpm
HS / 2L Polishing or Lapping high thickness lenses / adjustable longer spindles stroke
- Since the equipment is easy to operate, unskilled labour can be utilized.
- The lenses is simply placed in the special supports.
- However, the lens must be clamped if its edge thickness is less than 1 mm.
- Reduced working time thanks to the use of new products for the refining and polishing.
- Small amount of space is needed for the installation, minimize to a great extent both the production and operational expenses. The machine has two spindles for the simultaneous processing of two surfaces which can be either:
- 2 concave surfaces
- 2 convex surfaces
- 1 concave surface and 1 convex surface. In addition, the diameters of the two surfaces being processed can differ.
