Semi-automatic lapping / polishing machine for processing spherical surfaces in mineral glass and moulds. Specially designed
for small productions or prescription jobs. Equipped with special tools, the unit can also be used for grinding diamond spherical
tools.
- The movement of the oscillating arm is obtained by means of a special patented hydraulic device.
- This permits regulation of the amplitude and speed of translation of the machine in motion, with simple, fast commands.
- This device further makes it possible to obtain a translation of the arms which is entirely independent from the rotation of the spindle, this assuring a
- non periodicity of overlap between the lens and the tool of the points which previously made contact. Consequently the faults of abberrations, of comblike striations, and the forming of a surface like an orange skin are eliminated.
- The pressure of work is obtained pneumatically, this making is possible to have an “elastic pressure” easily adjustable even if the machine is in motion.
- The feed of the abrasive mìxture takes piace automatically by means of a centrifugal pump incorporated in the tank.
- Extreme rationality and speed in cleaning the tank and the centrifugal pump.
- A suitable device is foreseen to block the rotating spindle, in order to facilitate blocking and release of the working tool.
- The machine is equipped with electrical timer which automatically winds up.
- All the mechanical parts which are subject to friction are made in special steel with a hardness of not less than 60 Rkc.
- Maintenance and lubrication are reduced to a minimum.
